Thank you Monica for a wonderful movement and relaxation hour. I feel so much better than how I was before I started.

This was fun to do this dance routine again! It has inspired me to start adding this simple, yet effective aerobic routine, to my weekly schedule. I think doing it 3 or 4 times a week will help my heart and my overall fitness. Thanks, Monica!

What a wonderful practice this is! Your guidance and ease make it very enjoyable and easy to follow. I love the seaside sunset - a nice surprise and then you close with a nice melody too! Well done Monica! I will be doing this one again!

I am so happy this class was recorded. It is one of my favorites! My body loves the Tai Chi breath which is a wonderful way to close the practice. Thank you, Monica. I also want to share my appreciation for your elegantly written history and explanation of Yin Yoga. I am thankful for this practice: its unhurried, deliberate exploration of what my body needs in this moment. It is so wonderful to gain more self-awareness and deeper mindfulness. Shanti, shanti, shanti. Peace, Peace, Peace.

It was so nice to join Monica's Gentle Yoga class. I wasn't sure if I'd be up to it since I didn't have any previous experience with online yoga classes. However, the online studio was so bright and calm that I immediately felt I'd gotten to the right place!
I loved the initial check-in and the explanation of what we'd do and the props we'd need. Monica's voice was soothing, and centering through breathing and grounding in the body was a great start. I enjoyed the movements and the poses we did, as well as the awareness of how all of this helps the body and the nervous system.
The class was definitely beginner-yogi friendly. There were several options to choose from!
The final relaxation was exactly what my mind and body needed. I can't wait for next week to continue the yoga journey with Monica and my fellow yogis.

On Mindfulness for Educators: I loved that there wasn't a ton of pressure to have things done by the exact due date. This is such a crazy time of year as a teacher, so with everything going on, I loved being able to do things when I was able to. I would love to recommend this course because I know that my students LOVE that we now incorporate mindfulness into our daily morning routine. They are actually sad when we aren't able to do it! They, as well as I, have really benefitted from doing these exercises on a daily basis.

On Mindfulness for Educators: Knowing that the facilitator was always available for us to ask questions was extremely helpful, also the content itself and the variety therein was ideal. I would definitely recommend this course. It is well worth the time to do the readings and post discussion responses. I appreciate the opportunity my school gave us by offering this training. This was undeniably an eye-opening experience for me and I will treasure it always.

The flexibility allowed throughout the course, the facilitator’s kindness as well as the asynchronous format were extremely helpful. I’d absolutely recommend this course. This has been a great overview and history of mindfulness. Some content addressed using mindfulness in the school setting, and I think that was the most useful part.

All in all this was a very useful and helpful experience, and the organization was outstanding. The set up was very clear. Expectations are clear as well. I’d definitely recommend the Mindfulness for Educators course.

I’d absolutely recommend the Mindfulness for Educators online course! I’ve already shared with several coworkers that I was in a mindfulness class and how much I had learned and applied to my own life. I felt my learning, application and VALUE for being mindful greatly increased!

I highly recommend the Mindfulness for Educators online course. I really love the collection of videos and articles. The discussion boards were a simple way to reflect and pull the week together and see how it affected others. The course has a wealth of information, and mindfulness needs to be the norm. Thank you!

“I was lucky enough to have had Monica Mulholland as a fellow trainee at a teacher training course at Pilgrims in Canterbury last summer. In class, she was always humble and unobtrusive. However, I discovered soon enough what an abundance of knowledge and experience she has. I had only heard about mindfulness before her workshop. Through her workshop, I found out what mindfulness means and how it can be applied. It was both very interesting and useful, especially when it was presented by a person with such an aura of calmness and kindness. I’m honored to have met a great professional who is always ready to give support to her colleagues and who is a wonderful person as well. It was clear from our two weeks together that genuinely giving love and support is Monica’s approach to teaching and learning. Thank you for teaching me about mindfulness and for your support! Your students are very lucky to have you!

“Last August, I had the pleasure to meet Dr. Monica Mulholland in a summer course at Pilgrims, Canterbury.
She is a knowledgeable, talented professional but, on top of that, she is also an incredibly charming, thoughtful and endearing person.
Monica conducted a workshop on Educational Mindfulness, which all attendees loved. I truly enjoyed every single activity carried out in the session. She was not only engaging and motivating but also high-powered and kept us all mesmerized until the very end of her expert training.
She is a true inspiration for teachers, trainers and students. Thank you, Monica, for teaching us how important mindfulness is for both our personal growth and professional development. Bravo! My classmates and I were indeed thankful for this workshop, and I look forward to seeing her again soon in the U.K. or elsewhere.”

“It has been a pleasure to participate in the Creativity Workshop led by Dr. Monica Mulholland. It took place in Bayamo, Cuba. It was a valuable training full of work and activities that kept us motivated all the time. Her teaching style was inspirational. I loved all the activities, and I’m already putting them into practice in class. I really appreciate the learning experiences shared. The time was short, but her knowledge, enthusiasm, and energy remain in all the participants who met her. We are grateful for this workshop and we look forward to seeing her soon to share more ideas to develop in class. Thank you for this great opportunity!”

“Last summer, I had the opportunity to participate in a workshop led by Dr. Monica Mulholland. It was on Teaching Languages Through Creativity, Drama Techniques, the Theory of Multiple Intelligences, and Brain-Based Education. It took place in Bayamo, Cuba, during the Catholic Church Summer School for Teachers. It was the best and most valuable training I’ve ever had the chance to participate in. Dr. Mulholland’s teaching style is full of energy, and she always wants the participants to learn and have fun; a perfect combination! The week-long workshops provided us with tools to engage diverse students through creativity in the classroom. We are very grateful for this amazing opportunity, and we look forward to sharing another session with Dr. Mulholland next year.”

“A few weeks ago Dr. Mulholland visited our school to lead a professional development for parents and teachers of Colegio Interamericano de Guatemala. It was by far one of the best and most useful trainings our school has ever organized. Monica’s presentation style provided our community with the perfect blend of research and hands on activities. The result was a learning experience that was not only useful, but truly inspirational. Thank you again to Monica for reminding all of us as teachers and parents of the importance of mindfulness in schools and in life. Well done!”

“Interamericano is a Pre-Kinder to 12th grade bilingual school in Guatemala. Dr. Mulholland came for two days to present workshops on The Art of Teaching and Learning for our teachers and on Creatividad y Uso Óptimo del Cerebro for our parents’ group. Her knowledge of the subject matter and her presentation skills are excellent. Furthermore, since she is fully bilingual, she was able to present in Spanish or English depending on the audience. Everyone appreciated getting the information in their own language and the reviews of her visit were outstanding.”
