Welcome! I’m glad you’re here!
I’m a yoga and Qigong teacher supporting people in their wisdom years, ages 45 and beyond. My work is rooted in compassion, accessibility, and inclusion, creating welcoming spaces where all bodies and backgrounds feel seen and supported.
My teaching is shaped by lived experience. Having navigated my own physical limitations, I understand real bodies and real life. My classes meet you where you are, without pressure or comparison, honoring what is present rather than striving for perfection.
I integrate yoga, gentle strength conditioning, and Qigong, a slow, meditative movement practice that supports the smooth flow of energy through the body. Together, these practices support bone health, balance, vitality, and inner calm. Classes blend mindful movement, breath, and relaxation to build practical strength for daily life while restoring harmony between body and mind.
This work is about moving intelligently, honoring your body’s wisdom, and cultivating energy that supports you through every season of life.

True Vitality Comes from Within
Over the years, I’ve been honored to learn from teachers who embodied quiet strength, people whose power wasn’t in appearance, but in presence. They moved with ease, breathed with awareness, and met life’s changes with grace.
Their example taught me that true vitality isn’t about perfection or performance. It’s about connection to breath, to balance, and to the living energy that moves through us all.
That is the heart of Yoga and Qigong: a lifelong path of learning, humility, and renewal.

I teach from my own embodied experience:
I have a Ph.D. in the Humanities, and like many academics, I’ve spent much of my adult life sitting at a computer.
I’ve always loved my profession, but my body got stiffer and stiffer as the years went by.
I’ve experienced chronic respiratory conditions, daily headaches, insomnia, and anxiety.
Yoga, Qigong, and Mindfulness have helped me cultivate tools to heal in a natural way.
Living with osteoporosis has become a pathway to deeper understanding — one I now walk with others, step by mindful step. At 63, I feel more grounded and stronger than ever before.

Join our Yoga & Qigong Online Circle — a nourishing blend of Yoga, Qigong, Restorative Poses, and Sound Bath.
Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese healing practice that combines gentle movement, breath, and focused awareness to cultivate life energy (Qi) and restore harmony within the body and mind.
This class weaves Qigong’s flowing sequences with Yoga’s mindful postures and Restorative relaxation to create a compassionate and deeply balancing experience. Movements are slow and intentional, inviting you to release tension, improve posture, and awaken your natural vitality.
My approach honors the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit — promoting whole-person wellness rather than just physical fitness.
Class size limited to 12 participants for individualized attention.
