Guided Meditation for Gratitude, Healing Sound Bath & Green Tara Mantra

The Green Tara Mantra

The Green Tara Mantra is a sacred and revered chant in Tibetan Buddhism, dedicated to Green Tara, the goddess of compassion, healing, and swift protection. She is often portrayed as a radiant, youthful figure seated in a meditative posture, with one leg gracefully folded in stillness and the other extended forward—symbolizing her readiness to rise and offer immediate aid to those in need, alleviating suffering with boundless love and wisdom.

The Mantra: Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha

Meaning and Significance

Om: The universal sound; the primordial sound. The vibration harmonizes the physical, mental, and spiritual planes.

Tare: Liberation from samsara (the cycle of suffering and rebirth).

Tuttare: Liberation from fears and external dangers.

Ture: Liberation from internal dangers, such as ignorance, hatred, and attachment.

Soha: A dedication, meaning “may the blessings be received” or “may it be so.”
